Amy Kellicker
Owner/Director

"As an instructor, I believe sharing my dance experience with my students will inspire them physically, artistically, and spiritually."

As the founder, principal choreographer, and artistic director of Dance with Spirit, Amy Kellicker opened the dance studio in 2001 to share her love of dancing with students of all ages and skill levels.  Now, as a director, Amy focuses on pushing her students to work diligently to perfect their skills and excel in competition, while still inspiring them so they maintain their love for the art.

Amy began taking dance classes just under the age of two, and continued her studies throughout college. As a student, she participated in numerous competitions, successfully pushing herself to always place in the top medal of her category and, in 1988, as a freshman in high school, Amy won the prestigious title of Miss Showstopper.

Though she has studied ballet and tap for years,  it is the more modern forms of dance, like lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop, that are her true passion. In 1992, while in college, Amy toured with MTV Productions as a dancer, where she was often challenged to learn complex choreography with little notice.  It is this experience, coupled with her years of intense training that drives Amy to motivate her students towards success.
